This perfect little fella was the very first newborn I did I did in the new studio! It was very exciting for me and I was so thrilled with the results.

Master K was the epitome of a newborn model!  Thank you to his amazing parents too! They were so calm and enthusiastic. I truly enjoyed every second of this session.

This gorgeous couple and family are celebrating their engagement! They were so beautiful and lovely and it was a perfect day for a session at the beach.

Fall Family Fun! {So Lovely Photography - Family)

I know that it is now spring, but this session was done 6 months back, but I had to keep it quiet as it was a present.

This is a fellow photog friend of mine and her GORGEOUS kiddos. There is the most perfect spot here in Medowie for the fall leaves and we just had to take advantage of it.

This gorgeous couple was so relaxed and easy to work with.  Just a few days before her due date and mum to be was looking amazing!

Oh and this was the FIRST session I got to do in the new studio. It worked out perfectly!

My New Space! {So Lovely Photography - Studio}

I have finally taken a massive step and got my own studio space!! Ok so it is just a small room in my home in Medowie, but none the less it is mine and I am excited!! After some cleaning out and rearranging I have moved my office to make this room available to use as a natural light studio.

Why? And what does this mean to my sessions, you ask?  Well because I need to look at how I am running my business and balancing my time between work and family. Having my sessions at home, with the setup all ready to go will make sessions run smoother and less rushed. It also means that I have 100% of my props available rather than just a select few.

So yes this does mean that I am asking my newborn families to travel to me. I will have a very comfortable space with lounge, change table. Plus tea, coffee and snacks available to make sure you are relaxed and can enjoy your time with me. I also have toys and books for your older children to keep them happy and entertained.

What if you wish not to travel. Well that is ok too! For $25 you can choose to have me travel* to you! I understand that having a newborn can be a hard adjustment and if you feel that you are not able to make the trip to me, then home sessions are still an option.

At the moment this space is simple, but has all the essentials. There will definitely continue to be improvements as time goes on and can't wait to share them as they happen.

Oh and please be advised these changes only apply to studio style sessions. i.e. newborn, 7 month old, cake smash etc. Outdoor locations shoots have not changed.

* Travel within Port Stephens, Newcastle and Hunter areas. Further travel may incur additional fees.

Precious Little Boy Blue {So Lovely Photography - Newborn}

I was so excited to be able to photograph this little man and his parents. He was such a good boy the whole time. Even tough he wasn't too interested in sleeping at first, he was so happy to be awake and look around. Isn't he perfect!! Thank you Jenny and Mitch for coming to see me!!

Nothing could have been more perfect for this session. The weather and location was superb, and then this family arrived.... heaven! with a boot full of props and personality there was nothing more I could do than SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT!  Thank you all for such an amazing day!!
