Princess Perfect

I was completely shocked and amazed by this little darlings ability to sleep! Put her down and she closed her eyes.  She was also a dream for curling and posing!  And to top it all off her mum and dad were just awesome.  I feel so lucky to have met this little family.

Signs of Summer

Frangipani is without doubt my favourite flower. My husband has been responsible for the majority of the landscaping since we moved into our new house, but this is one I insisted on having. These are the first ever flowers on my plant. I love summer.

You and Me and Baby Makes Three

I had the absolute pleasure to photograph this new little family. They were so wonderful and clearly in love with their gorgeous new baby girl.

Alive in my Backyard

For Christmas, Santa and my husband got me a new lens (24-70 f2.8 L series) and a macro kit. The point of the gift was to get me having FUN with photography again and not just focusing on business all the time (which is fun for me because I love what I do). But I must say I was excited about these new toys and started documenting everything that moved (and didn't) in my yard.

These are just a few of the creatures lurking.

The New Addition

I have started this blog to try and share a bit more about myself to anyone who might be interested. Not just the photographer me, but also ME me and the family ME.  So not only will I be sharing sneak peeks of my client sessions, I will also be sharing exciting times in my own life.
I would first off like to introduce the new kitten Oscar.  Yes I should proabaly start with myself or my children, but Oscar is way easier to get photos of so they will come in the near future.  Oscar was a bit of an impulse addition, which in my opinion are the best kind.

Oscar hangs out on my desk with me while I “work”. With him crusing around and being so cute I must admit I don't get much done.

Testing the Blogging Waters

I have been told by many people that I need to start a blog. I have been very reluctant as I have no idea what I am doing! So after some help from my assistant here it is. A bit raw for now, but as I learn it will hopefully evolve into something worth sharing.

Here is a photo I took yesterday of my oldest daughter. She is such a sweety and so much fun to photograph.
