How gorgeous are these two!! Ok so I am little biased they are my brother and soon to be sister-in-law!! I will be heading to Sothern California next month for their wedding. I am so excited. Aren't they just perfect!

What a way to finish the year!! (financial year that is)

How gorgeous is this bubba girl and her family!!  What a treat it was to get to photograph them all. Little Miss H was such a good little girl and her big sister was cute as a button!!! 

She's a Beautiful 1 Year Old!! {So Lovely Photography - Babies}

I was so excited to take photos of little Miss J for her 1st birthday. 12 months ago I photographed her as a newborn and can't believe just how much she has grown and how beautiful she is! We had so much fun!  We started with some "clean" shots and then got down to business with the CAKE SMASH! I absolutely LOVED this and hope to do more in the future.

Boys and Their Car {So Lovely Photography - Family}

We had been waiting for the weather to clear to get these gorgeous boys out for a session. Well on Saturday the sun finally showed up and we got the perfect day for a fun winter photo shoot with a beautiful family. 

The boys did end up a little muddy (Sorry Shay :) But I think they had fun and so did I!

Happy Birthday Queen! {So Lovely Photography - Me}

How does an American-Australian celebrate the Queen's Birthday? Like an American of course ;) 

After a great day spent in the yard clearing out weeds and rubbish, we got a chimnea and sat around it and roasted hotdogs for dinner, and had S'Mores for dessert. I was especially excited about these S'Mores as another American friend of mine had given me Graham Crackers and I had been saving them for a special occasion such as this. 

Obviously a good time was had by all.

A Spectacular Day Learning with Jonathan Dear - So Lovely Photography

Earlier this month I was so so lucky to be able to attend a lighting workshop with Jonathan Dear of Vibrant Photography specialising in lighting for wedding photography. This workshop was absolutely amazing however a little overwhelming as I have used so little in the way of lighting at weddings. In general, I tend to stay on the natural light side of things, and use my speed light for weddings when necessary, but this workshop opened my eyes to a whole new world of lighting possibilities. As a result I have already spent a bit to upgrade my lighting arsenal in preparation for my next wedding shoot.

Here are a few photos from the workshop. We were so fortunate to have not only Jonathan but an absolutely stunning couple model for us.

A Lucky Day for an Amaizing Couple {So Lovely Photography - Wedding}

Sharon and Darren's big day was threatened with some less than ideal weather. I was told on my wedding day ( which was plagued with torrential rain) that rain on your wedding day is LUCKY!!! When it comes to these two families I certainly hope that is true. These two families have joined so perfectly I can only imaged the best for them. Thank you guys for having me on your amazing wedding day.
